Young Womyn of Strength Conference: Brooklyn Friends School

The Diversity Office at BFS is planning a Young Womyn of Strength Conference scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. This is an official invite for your school/organization to send one chaperone and a diverse group (5-7) of young womyn leaders or future leaders to the conference! Our theme this year is: Educate. Inspire. Empower. We will provide the young womyn positive messages from local/regional role models that have lived and experienced some (or all) of the hurdles, obstacles and challenges in the 21st century. The keynote/workshops will be interactive, informative and applicable (with time for Q&A). Please feel free to reach out to the Diversity Office if you have any questions. Thank you!
