Elements Conference – Closing Sistah Circle Address
5th LGBTQ Womyn of Color Conference (Atlanta, GA)
Dr. Alexis Pauline Gumbs will deliver the Closing Sistah Circle Address for the 5th LGBTQ Womyn of Color Conference in Atlanta, GA at Spelman College/The Atlanta University Center (AUC) on October 27th, 2013. The Conference begins Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM – Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 5:00 PM. Pre-registration is required.
Elements Organization started in the summer of 2008 in a Philadelphia living room with a group of diverse LGBTQ womyn of color who believed they could organize the resources needed for their individual and communities’ healing. This is the first conference the historic Spelman and Clark Atlanta have hosted for LGBTQ womyn!!!
