POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Saturday Oct 4th  11:30am-2pm

Join Alexis Pauline Gumbs and Sangodare as they share images and sounds from their Breathing Back exhibition as part of Art and Dialogue’s focus on Racism.   Breathing Back is an interactive visual, sonic, meditative and poetic experience that will allow participants to tap into an archival of radical black breathing.

Join Dr. Alexis Pauline Gumbs and Julia Roxanne Wallace to sing, listen, breathe and chant as we bring the legacies of movement for justice and black lives older than us to bear on the conversation and create spaces of resilience and inquiry that activate deep reflection and transformation beyond reaction.
