Let Love Land Opening and Artist Talk (7pm; 8pm)
with Alexis Pauline Gumbs’s Divine Memory Oracle and Sangodare’s (Julia Roxanne Wallace) Soul Likeness Reflection.
Let Love Land exhibit and talk is about activating ancestral guidance for our tangible living on this precarious land. During the exhibit opening and artist talks the community will get an opportunity to see, hear and feel the voices that guide the artists’ on their journey. Community members will also get a chance to access the divine memory oracle, learn about the technology of soul likeness, create their own mantras and bounce sound off each other’s beings (lovingly of course.)

Let Love Land Dance Party
This dance party will have life giving music from multiple genres (including popular music and Black Feminist up tempo mantra music). We will be creating a safe space for movement and dance where you can freestyle your groove or get a little help from the mother of ceremony giving call and response body cues.
Let Love Land artist residency is an interactive art installation that channels generations of love into tangible individual and community resources. This residency is designed to facilitate participants as they go deeper and get more grounded in spiritual vibration and purpose. Through visual, sonic and intellectual installation opportunities Sangodare (priest, composer, media-maker, educator) and Alexis Pauline Gumbs (prayer poet priestess and black feminist love evangelist) will engage the allgo community and their allies in Austin with a visual exhibit, queer choir practice, an interactive dance party and opportunities for one on one sessions with the artists.
