In Search of Our Mothers (Revolutionary Garden Walks)

Please join Eternal Summer of the Black Feminist Mind as we continue to celebrate Mother’s Day Month with a revolutionary garden walk.

To participate in this walk meet at the main entrance of Duke Gardens at 3pm on Saturday May 16th.   We will be looking at and discussing excerpts of Alice Walker’s definition of Womanism and her more recent definition of Motherism.  If you want to bring an offering, seeds and plants from your garden or a garden you love are welcome.
