Octavia’s Brood: Visionary Fiction and Radical Hope: Moon Palace Books

Autumn Brown and Alexis Pauline Gumbs, two of the contributors to the anthology Octavia’s Brood: Science Fiction Stories from Social Justice Movements will share excerpts from their short stories, honor the memory and legacy of Octavia Butler and share how the practice of visionary fiction has impacted their hopeful activist work in this crucial and complicated political moment.  Octavia’s Brood will be released by AK Press in Spring 2015.
